The Ricoh GR III Digital Camera continues its tradition as a pocket-sized powerhouse, delivering exceptional image quality, quick responsiveness, and outstanding portability. With a redesigned imaging system, the GR III features a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and GR Engine 6, providing smooth tonal transitions, vibrant colors, and high sensitivity ranging from ISO 100 to 102400. It also offers the capability to capture high-resolution 14-bit DNG stills or Full HD video. Complementing the sensor is an 18.3mm f/2.8 prime lens, offering a 28mm equivalent focal length in 35mm terms. Notably, the GR III introduces a 3-axis Shake Reduction System, a first for the GR series, which mitigates camera shake for sharper handheld shots, even at slower shutter speeds.

While the GR III retains its familiar compact form, it boasts a redesigned control layout that enhances grip comfort and maintains easy access to physical controls. The camera features a 3.0″ 1.037m-dot LCD for image composition, playback, and menu navigation, with a touchscreen interface that offers intuitive control and Touch AF capabilities.
