Explore the power of wind energy with the classroom kit that comes with a DC motor generator, an AC generator with magnets, coils and every piece of equipment required to construct a fully functional horizontal wind energy turbine.

Use the handy kit to demonstrate the power output with an LED, a piezo buzzer or showcase the energy output on a standard multimeter. The kit comes with blade adapters so students can explore ways to create their own designs with 1/4in dowels or 3D print blades. 

PicoSTEM’s certified virtual teacher mentor can guide students to experiment and create their own blade designs for optimal energy output.
